printable errata and changes?

Posted by bluejay at December 08. 2005
Hi.

It is possible to have an easy printable version of the errata and changes lists?

I know, that a printed list will become obsolete, but i want to print the list of now known errata, because i want to buy the book now ;).

Or: How many errors are fixed within the No Starch Press version? (But i had to wait for about 4 weeks for this version... The Open Source Press version is available.)

This is an excellent suggestion. I am a little busy at the moment, but I'll try to implement this when I get a chance.

If you think I take to long, feel free to prod me! Maybe sending an email would be better (feedback@debiansystem.info).

The No Starch version has approx. 10 errata fixed, but we did not include any changes/updates. The differences are thus minimal.

Chad Laity, Cariboo Computer Magazine: Kudos to Martin F. Krafft for putting together one excellent book about the concepts and techniques for the Debian Linux distribution. [...] This is one of those books that goes into complete detail about every aspect of the Debian project. A very well written book with examples and lots of information for any user that wants to learn more about the Debian project or use it as a resource alongside a standard Linux reference book to bootstrap your Linux experience with Debian. I give The Debian System - Concepts and Techniques a big two thumbs up and two toes up!!
