No edition planned for etch

First off, sorry for the lack of news output in the last half year. For one, there was not really anything to report, so the saying "no news is good news" applies.

I've been extremely busy with my Ph.D. research and as of late somewhat handicapped. But these are only two of the reasons why I have not produced an updated edition of my book in time for the release of Debian "etch". I've summarised other reasons in a blog post at the beginning of the year.

Since sarge's release, we have made many changes to the Debian system. Thus, I am looking forward to updating my book and to document all the new, cool stuff. Whether I will be able to do so in time for the release of lenny (the next version), only time will tell.
