John Vacca: This excellent book has done an excellent job of targeting people familiar with Unix who are looking to understand what makes Debian different, and how to best put Debian's paradigms and tools to use. In other words, this book is intended to be a reference for the Debian system, as well as a guide for those that want to go further with the system.
